Israel’s well-being and vitality is a priority in our values as United States citizens: Israel must endure as the Jewish national homeland and be successful politically, economically, demographically and morally, maintaining its eternal and ultimate goal to live in peace among the world’s nations.

We affirm Israel’s inalienable right to flourish in the family of nations. All efforts to deligitimize, demonize or hold her to a different standard than other nations are insupportable.

We support and encourage Israel’s efforts to maintain its democratic and pluralistic society.

We support Israel’s rights, like any sovereign nation, to secure and recognized borders, to defend itself and to protect its citizens.

Zionism is the national aspiration of the Jewish people, millennia old, sanctioned and codified by the United Nations decree of 1947 establishing the state of Israel. Zionism is not racist or colonialist but legitimate nationalism. All nation-states and nationalist movements are based on self-identified peoplehood and a sense of solidarity among historic groups.

We support the decisions made by Israel's democratically elected leaders regarding its security and other policies. While we don’t always agree with everything Israel does, it would be wrong for us to try and impose our beliefs or second-guess the choices of Israeli citizens who pay the taxes, vote, and fight the wars for Israel's defense.

We believe that Israel is a positive force for the peoples and nations of the world, as well as for the world’s Jews.
